beginning with root // root as ritual

One of the greatest gifts I have received on my journey is the awareness that any true ritual starts with the “root”:

I am safe, centered, and grounded in my body, I am here and present, I am exactly where I am meant to be.”

In order for us to fully live, we must first connect to this truth.

root + ritual has been created with the intention to offer individuals an opportunity to feel safe, seen, held and respected.

I offer root + ritual as bridge to the sacred.

tattooing as alchemy

Tattooing is a very intimate process that requires an artist to be fully present, full of care, and deeply attuned to the needs of the person being tattooed.
Individuals often see the end result and simply see a finished tattoo, but don’t always look at how deeply meaningful the process is. What often goes unseen is the depth of meaning woven into the experience. Behind every design is a creation process, and within every session lives the responsibility of holding space.
I love tattooing because it has offered me the opportunity for endless growth. It has pushed me as a creative and has shown me how truly capable I am at not only creating beautiful art, but more importantly creating a super meaningful experiences for my clients.
The art of tattooing means something different for everyone — my truth is that every tattoo is true alchemy, a very real ritual of transformation.

plant spirits as teachers

My path has been shaped by years of immersion in Earth-based ceremony and plant medicine traditions. Sitting with a variety of teachers and plant medicines has deeply informed my healing journey, strengthening my devotion, presence, and reverence in all the work I offer.

My first true teacher on this path was Nina Palmieri, founder of A New Earth Movement. Walking closely with Nina’s teachings for years felt like my first initiation. Through the mystery school and its classes, I was guided deeper into earth-honoring ways of living. Devoted to the path, I eventually graduated from the mentorship program — an experience that profoundly deepened my self-awareness while gifting me both community and a spiritual foundation that continues to guide my life today.

I am now a second-year student at the School of the Sacred Wild, studying under herbalist Marysia Miernowska — author of The Witch’s Herbal Apothecary. In this hands-on village of learning, plants are the teachers. Each lesson with the wild medicines strengthens my connection to Earth. This training in folk herbalism teaches one how to live in reciprocity with the land and to remember the old ways of healing.

Through my work with ceremony and differing spiritual practices, I’ve had the opportunity to share space, facilitate and participate in many circles. The medicine of Cacao in particular has been a beloved ally and teacher who has opened many pathways internally. She has taught me the gift of heart medicine, and guides me to the Earth for nurturance and healing. Through holding Cacao ceremonies, I have witnessed how this medicine truly softens the heart, opens pathways of connection, and weaves people into deeper presence with themselves and with one another — healing that is deeply needed at this time on our planet.

motherhood as initiation

Motherhood has been a profound rite of passage — perhaps the most transformative of all. Crossing the threshold into motherhood by birthing three beautiful children has drawn me into ancient and profound wisdom. This sacred initiation cracked my heart wide open bringing immense love, humbling challenges, and a rebirth of my identity.

It was through this journey that I was first called into women’s circles, where I discovered the deep medicine of gathering with other women — sharing stories and prayers, I discovered the medicine of true sisterhood.

Over the past five years, this path blossomed into co-facilitating Women’s Temple for women to heal, reconnect, and remember their power. It is my mission to support women — especially Mothers — as they move through the many passages of womanhood. I believe the stages of womanhood carry profound wisdom and act as an invitation to remember our innate power.

Motherhood continues to be one of my greatest teachers, drawing me even deeper into community and inspiring me to hold others through their own transformations.

I continue to hold a deep intention to continue in the work of holding spaces of nourishment and connection where human beings can honor their own rhythms, reclaim their voices, and be witnessed in the beauty and depth of their becoming.
