As we gather near the threshold of Summer Solstice, we enter a powerful moment on the wheel of the year — a time when the sun reaches its fullest expression and the Earth is alive with growth, movement, vitality, and illumination.
Traditionally, Solstice has long been honored as a turning point: a celebration of light, abundance, fertility, and life force, while also reminding us to become intentional with the energy we are cultivating and bringing into the world.
For this special Cacao Circle, we are honored to welcome several beloved guest facilitators and deeply talented percussionists — dear brothers within our community — who will guide us through an immersive journey into rhythm, embodiment, and the ancient pulse of the drum.
Drumming has been woven through human ritual, prayer, and communal gathering across cultures for thousands of years. Its repetitive rhythm has a unique way of quieting the mind and reconnecting us to something more instinctual, grounded, and deeply alive within the body. The drum calls us back into the heartbeat — into breath, movement, presence, and the primal intelligence carried within our nervous systems and bones.
Together in community we will gather by the river with sacred fire to root deeply into ourselves while honoring the intensity and expansion of this seasonal threshold. This evening is an invitation to reconnect with the body, awaken the senses, and remember the ancient human experience of gathering in rhythm.
